Farther than making use of renewable energy sources through its photovoltaic system, CID is also focused on exploiting other sustainable resources such as water usage. In order to do so, the building's roof (by means of its inclined design plus a series of channels built following the outer structure) will channel the rain water to an underground storage system with a maximum capacity of 200.000 litres.

This way, the building is capable of making use of its own water deposit for meeting the basic requirements, without depending on outer sources and so, ensuring the sustainability of its activity.
