Possibly, the most iconic and emblematic element of the Centre for Innovation and Development is its photovoltaic system, integrated as a substantial part of the cover surface and  designed with the purpose of aesthetic integration as well as an ideal orientation for the exploitation of the solar exposure of the region.

This design manages to convert an element generally hidden in constructions in an attractive and charaterizing element. Furthermore, the efficiency of the solar power production is also exponentially increased, resulting in a final production of 200kW, which are more than enough for sustaining the energy requirements of the construction and of several other buildings in the region.
